NORMAND'HY // DCS commissioning supervisor

Job Description

• Activity planning: Develop commissioning procedures, define priorities, organize test sequences, and prepare commissioning documentation.
• On‑site supervision: Lead technicians, subcontractors, and specialists; monitor daily operations and resolve technical issues.
• Interdisciplinary coordination: Work closely with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Test execution: Perform or supervise FAT/SAT, functional tests, performance tests, instrumentation checks, and electrical/mechanical inspections.
• Documentation management: Maintain checklists, punch lists, test reports, certificates, and commissioning dossiers.
• HSE & compliance: Ensure strict application of safety rules, conduct risk assessments, and validate work permits.
• Project reporting: Communicate progress, deviations, risks, and needs to the Project Manager and engineering teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial systems: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation.
• Mastery of commissioning standards (API, IEC, ISO…).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and control logic.
• Experience with functional tests, commissioning of process units, utilities, and OEM packages.
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Degree in industrial engineering, electrotechnics, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of commissioning experience in Oil & Gas, energy, chemicals, pharma, or heavy industry.
• Professional English required.
• International mobility appreciated.
