About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales Leader / Business Development Manager with a strong hunting mindset to build new enterprise relationships and drive consulting and technology services growth across France and Europe.
The role will focus on identifying, developing and converting new-logo opportunities within priority sectors including Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, and Entertainment & Media . The successful candidate will combine strong market knowledge, executive presence, industry relationships and consultative selling capabilities to create a sustainable pipeline of strategic opportunities.
This is a new-business-focused role , where proven hunting capability and market credibility are more important than having worked for a large global IT services organisation. We are open to candidates from different backgrounds who can demonstrate strong relationships within the target sectors and a consistent track record of generating new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive proactive new-business development and hunting activities across France and selected European markets.
- Identify, target and acquire new enterprise customers across Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Entertainment & Media and other strategic sectors.
- Build and execute account penetration strategies for high-potential enterprise prospects.
- Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic prospecting, market mapping, referrals, partnerships and executive engagement.
- Establish and nurture relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, business leaders, procurement heads and transformation stakeholders .
- Originate and independently develop strategic opportunities from initial engagement through qualification, pursuit, negotiation and closure.
- Position and sell IT Consulting, Digital Transformation, Software Development, Engineering Services, Cloud, AI, Data & Analytics, ERP and Managed Services solutions.
- Lead customer discovery sessions, executive presentations, transformation discussions and strategic business meetings.
- Work closely with pre-sales, consulting, solution architecture and delivery teams to develop compelling and commercially viable proposals.
- Understand customer business challenges, industry trends, technology priorities and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships that create opportunities for account expansion and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Maintain strong pipeline governance, forecasting discipline and opportunity tracking.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, customer forums and strategic business engagements.
First-Year Success Expectations
The expectation is to build a strong and sustainable pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities and deliver approximately €500K–€1M in new revenue during the first year .
Early success will not be measured solely by closed revenue. Key leading indicators will include:
- Executive-level meetings established with target accounts.
- Qualified new-logo opportunities identified.
- Strong sales pipeline created and progressed.
- Discovery and transformation workshops conducted.
- High-quality proposals developed in collaboration with pre-sales and consulting teams.
- New strategic accounts successfully opened and positioned for long-term growth.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, IT Services, Consulting, Digital Transformation or related technology environments.
- Demonstrated and consistent hunter mentality with a proven track record of winning new customers.
- Strong existing relationships and market credibility within French enterprise organisations .
- Experience selling complex technology, consulting or services-led solutions.
- Ability to independently originate, qualify, develop and close strategic opportunities.
- Strong experience engaging C-level and senior business stakeholders .
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT, digital transformation and technology services.
- Experience working with pre-sales, consulting, solution architecture and delivery teams to develop customer-specific propositions.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management capabilities.
- Excellent pipeline development, forecasting and pursuit-management skills.
- Fluency in French and English is strongly preferred.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline preferred.
- MBA or relevant commercial/technology qualification is advantageous.
