Group Network & Telecommunications Manager

Role Overview

In an environment where information systems are primarily centralized, you are responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of communication infrastructures (voice and data) across all group entities. Acting as a true conductor, you lead the network strategy with a focus on secure and highly available communications, both internally and with cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the corporate network and ensure its operational effectiveness and reliability.
• Work closely with other Domain Managers (Collaboration, Systems & Operations, Security) and lead the network administration team.
• Oversee the performance of LAN networks (switching, Wi-Fi, industrial networks), WAN networks (SD-WAN and MPLS technologies), and VoIP/ToIP services.
• Ensure redundancy of infrastructure and connectivity across the organization to minimize service interruptions.
• Define group-wide standards, particularly regarding security, including:
• Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) configuration
• Remote access controls (802.1x)
• Lead technical projects and change management activities within your scope.
• Manage critical incidents and coordinate recovery actions internally and with external service providers.
• Organize, supervise, and support the activities of your team.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and monitor emerging technologies and industry trends.

Profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in Networks and Telecommunications.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in networking and telecommunications, complemented by successful experience managing international projects within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong service orientation, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage critical incidents impacting production sites.
