Context: As part of securing, modernizing, and maintaining the operational readiness of the client's infrastructure, the Network Expert works on LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Vo

IP environments and multi-site interconnections. Their responsibilities include WAN monitoring, LAN segmentation, inter-VLAN filtering, firewall renewal and redundancy, Wi-Fi coverage expansion, and upgrades to switches, access points, and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network flow, performance, and coverage audits. Define and maintain VLAN, IP, DHCP/DNS, Qo

S, and filtering matrices.

• Design secure and highly available network architectures. Administer LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall equipment. Manage migrations, failovers, and rollback plans. Analyze and resolve network incidents, and ensure follow-up on corrective actions. Coordinate with telecom operators, the Vo

IP provider, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct performance, failover, and security testing, as well as user acceptance testing. Produce and maintain physical and logical diagrams, addressing plans, flow matrices, coverage studies, configuration backups, migration plans, test plans, and acceptance test reports.

Desired Profile

• Proven expertise in LAN/WAN networks, routing, switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPNs, Qo

S, and MPLS.

• Proficiency with Watch

Guard firewalls or equivalent solutions, captive portals, network monitoring, and Syslog.

• Sound understanding of high availability principles, segmentation, filtering, and ANSSI security best practices. Ability to work with the Project Manager, IT Expert, Security Expert, Network Technician, telecom operators, Vo

IP provider, and the client's IT department.

• Meticulous attention to detail, autonomy, analytical skills, and ability to work in a multi-site environment. Required Certifications Professional-level network certification such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise, or equivalent. Manufacturer certification for the proposed firewall solution, particularly Watch

Guard, or equivalent.

• Certification in network security or IT service management is an asset.
