The IT – Network & Security Expert will join Ipsen's Global Digital & IT Operations team and help evolve, improve and secure the global technology infrastructure.

Reports to the Director of Network & Telecom Infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and continuous improvement of Ipsen's network, telecom, security and unified communications environments. You will work across a complex international landscape as a trusted technical expert, partnering with infrastructure teams, business stakeholders and strategic service providers to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing solutions that support business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

• You will design, implement and evolve network, telecom and security architectures aligned with business needs, technology standards and long-term objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects, guiding the integration of new technologies and smooth handover to operations.
• Maintain and optimise critical network and security services; monitor performance; identify opportunities for improvement; ensure high availability and resilience.
• Lead the resolution of complex incidents and provide expert third-level support; manage risks and maintain service levels.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen operational governance, improve service performance and enhance user experience.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies to modernise infrastructure, improve security and increase operational efficiency.
• Combine deep technical expertise with a business-oriented mindset to ensure technology enables Ipsen's global ambitions securely and reliably.

Qualifications and Skills

• Significant experience across network, telecom and security infrastructure in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in network architecture, WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi; solid understanding of modern security platforms and practices.
• Experience designing and supporting secure, highly available infrastructure services; able to manage complex technical challenges globally.
• Operational experience with service management and troubleshooting; experience with unified communications, telephony and collaboration technologies is a plus.
• Proactive, analytical, customer-focused with the ability to balance operational excellence with innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments; collaboration across teams.
• Fluency in English and French is essential.
