Your mission:

We are looking for our future Coordinator of Operations Methods and Standards to join the Euromaster Group. This permanent position located in Clermont-Ferrand (France) is to be filled as soon as possible.

Reporting hierarchically to the Chief Performance Officer and functionally to the Euromaster Group Operations Manager, the Methods & Standards Coordinator is responsible for structuring and harmonizing operational practices within the equity and franchise networks, in order to increase the Customer Value Proposition and the Dealer Value Proposition.

The main missions consist of defining, formalizing, deploying, maintaining and enforcing operational standards and working methods to guarantee the performance, safety, quality of service, such as the customer experience in all countries where Euromaster operates.

Main responsibilities:

1- Definition and formalisation of standards

  • Analyze existing practices in the equity and franchise points of sales in countries
  • Identify levers for operational optimisation and priorities to be implemented
  • Define standards with country teams and business experts (safety, technical, quality, customer experience)
  • Write associated procedures, operating modes and reference documents

2 - Deployment and change management

  • Define and propose the best channel for disseminating and deploying the new “Euromaster Operational Way” standards, including the Master Standards
  • Define training contents
  • Identify and train country/field relays (operations managers, area managers, franchise consultants, centre managers, safety managers, methods referents, etc.)
  • Support the Group Operations Manager in change management

3 - Monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement

  • Identify and implement indicators to monitor the application of standards
  • Define a method and monitoring tool to carry out regular compliance and performance reviews in both integrated and franchised points of sales
  • Identify discrepancies and propose corrective action plans
  • Update standards according to field feedback and market or regulatory changes

4 - Cross-functional work

  • Work closely with indirect purchasing to define guidelines for recommended and/or mandatory equipment and tools necessary for operations
  • Work on a proposal for a Group CMMS (Computarized Maintenance Management System)

Business trips in Europe: At least 30% of the time (min. once per month), and more during the building phase.

Your background & qualifications

Degree / education:

  • Engineering school in Industry, Mechanics/Maintenance, industrial Systems or Master degree in Operations Management, Operational Excellence/Lean Management, Industrial Management, Quality/Safety/Environment or Business school (specialization in Operations, Supply Chain, Retail) with strong field experience
  • You have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position (i.e. Methods manager, Operational excellence manager, Internal auditor, Organization project manager). Experience in a multi-site automotive or tyre specialist network is preferred, or experience in retail, distribution services, logistics, maintenance. The knowledge of the Automotive sector is a plus.
  • You are an expert in process approach and project management, and demonstrate strong skills in business analysis. You are recognised for your resilience and ability to impact and influence. You act easily as a team member and within an international organisation.
  • You are fluent in French and/or English
