Network engineer (M/F)

Responsibilities
- Maintenance in operational condition (MCO): Install and/or deploy network extensions
- Acceptance of telecom & network deployments
- Guarantee the quality of the implementation, patching/correction of network and security systems
- Monitor technological developments and find appropriate technical solutions
- Infrastructure and deployment: Participating in technical architecture studies, drafting technical specifications and producing mock-ups of the solutions envisaged
- Manage the installation of infrastructures, parameterisation and validation of components
- Ensure the evolution of physical or virtual architectures in project mode and N3 support
- Incidents and crises: Manage incidents for all network and security environments
- Carrying out related investigations and following up incidents
- Guarantee the availability and optimisation of network configurations
- Audit: Participate in infrastructure audits
- Providing advice (Quality, Safety)
- IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code): Industrialising manual procedures and automating administrative and technical tasks (scripting, Ansible, Terraform)
- Documentation: Draft technical procedures (DAT, DEX LLD, HLD, DLD)
- Monitoring: Take an active part in the creation, improvement and development of metrology
- Analyse the prospect\'s needs and propose the appropriate solution
- Respond to customer queries to reassure them that the proposed solution is appropriate
- Helping to draw up the technical sections of the sales proposal
- Contribute to project costings by providing technical expertise
- Modelling the technical solution (POC)
Profile required
- Level of diploma : Higher education (Bac+3) or higher
- Expected experience Minimum 3 years\' successful technical experience in a digital services company.
Technical skills required
- General network knowledge (protocols, uses, routing and switching)
- Network and telecommunications protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN, WAN, VLAN, QinQ, VRF, MPLS, STP, RING, VPN, BGP, RIP, OSPF, QoS SDWAN, etc.
- Telecom and Internet technologies: DNS, (S)FTP, DHCP, HTTP(S), NTP, SNMP, LDAP(S), KERBEROS
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
- Administration and configuration of: routers/switches: Cisco, HP, Juniper
- Proxys / antispam, Authentication and URL filtering
- Wifi
- Load Balancer/Reverser Proxy/WAF
- Good understanding and management of SSL/TLS certificates
- Public and private cloud experience: MS Azure, AWS, Google, VMWare
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language
- Deployment: Terraform
- Wireshark and TCPDUMP
- Autonomy: know how to search for information/solutions
- Thoroughness and methodology: keeping commitments and informing those with whom you are dealing of the status of a situation, project, crisis or incident in a complete and accurate manner
- Ability to analyse and summarise: be able to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and draw meaningful conclusions. Understand the customer\'s issues in order to make the right decisions quickly.
