Network Engineer

Location: Saclay, France (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Salary: €50,000 per annum

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Network Engineer with experience supporting multi‑site enterprise environments. The role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving secure enterprise and operational technology (OT) networks across on‑premises sites and Azure cloud. You'll work on LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networking, Azure networking, and network security while supporting migrations, infrastructure projects, and 24/7 critical services.

Requirements

• 3+ years supporting multi-site enterprise network environments
• Strong experience with:
• Cisco routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP)
• Fortinet firewalls (NGFW, VPN, NAT, policies)
• LAN/WAN/SD-WAN
• DNS, DHCP, NTP & IPAM
• Experience with ITIL processes
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, DNS/DHCP/IPAM across multiple sites
• Manage Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switching/wireless, and Azure networking
• Troubleshoot network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve performance issues
• Implement network changes, migrations, upgrades, and rollout activities
• Configure VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, firewall rules, and network segmentation
• Maintain monitoring, documentation, network diagrams, and configuration standards
• Work with carriers, MSPs, and internal teams on network projects
• Participate in an on‑call rotation supporting critical production environments
• Automate network tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible where possible
