Network Engineer

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team and support enterprise‑scale, high‑performance networking environments. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network architectures, working closely with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams. The role includes deploying solutions and diagnosing complex networking issues, with a strong focus on Ethernet and Infini

Band technologies, including NVIDIA/Mellanox environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and manage wired and high-performance networks, including Ethernet and Infini

Band

Partner with customers and vendors to define network topology and resolve network-related issues

Troubleshoot networking problems across servers, top-of-rack switches (TOR), DACs, and NICs

Analyze failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with R& D and engineering teams

Design and deploy LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments

Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, servers)

Monitor network performance, availability, and security

Implement and test network security controls and access models

Maintain accurate technical documentation and network diagrams

Recommend improvements for performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability

Support and maintain all network operations and infrastructure

Perform additional related duties as needed

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience configuring and managing Ethernet and Infini

Band networks

Solid background in network architecture and administration

Deep understanding of networking protocols and routing concepts

Experience with enterprise networking equipment, firewalls, and switches

Familiarity with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analysis tools

Knowledge of network security principles and access control models

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Professional network certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP)

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Master’s preferred)5+ years of hands-on infrastructure or network engineering experience

Experience supporting enterprise-scale networks, including Infini

Band environments, strongly preferred
