Network Engineer
Job Summary
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Lynk Global's network infrastructure to ensure it is reliable, fast, and secure. This role requires deep technical expertise in network protocols, hardware configuration, and security, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally on infrastructure improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure
Configure and manage routers, firewalls, and network hardware
Create and enforce network security measures and policies
Troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution
Collaborate with IT and security teams on infrastructure improvements
Document network architecture, configurations, and processes
Procure and manage network hardware and software
Qualifications
3 – 6 years of experience in network engineering or administration
Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and wireless technologies
Hands‑on experience configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve problems logically
Self‑motivated and able to work with limited supervision
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Exposure to Linux and Windows Server administration
Bonus
Exposure to Cisco and/or Ubiquiti Networks
Familiarity with AWS networking and cloud infrastructure
Experience with PowerShell and network automation/scripting
Desire to expand into security or cloud architecture
Previous startup experience is a strong plus
ITAR Requirements
