Net Working Capital Manager (Western Europe)

The Regional Net Working Capital (NWC) Manager leads and owns the Western Europe NWC & FCF agenda end‑to‑end. This role operates as a business partner and challenger for the Western European Finance and Supply Chain organization at both regional and market levels. It aligns and drives optimal inventory and structural cash improvement across the full order‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay cycles. The NWC Manager sets and enforces one way of working, standards & processes, and a decision‑oriented cadence to unlock FCF and improve forecast quality. We are looking for a self‑starter who maintains a solution‑first and high‑ownership mindset. The role reports to the Head of Finance, Western Europe.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the Western Europe NWC & FCF agenda and set one way of working across markets to harmonize standards and scale best practices.
- Translate data into action: generate KPI‑driven insights (e.g., DSO, DIO, DPO and cash drivers) and prioritize and drive actions with measurable cash impact.
- Deliver receivables performance in partnership with Commercial and market teams, leveraging cash‑acceleration levers (e.g., factoring).
- Improve inventory health by aligning policies and execution with Supply Chain to Zentiva’s manufacturing footprint and market demand.
- Facilitate and drive collaboration across market, regional, and global teams by focusing on shared KPIs and committed actions that support local delivery.
- Partner with market Finance team on planning and forecasting for NWC & FCF to drive standards and rigor.
- Drive implementation of Global standards and operating procedures in Western Europe in collaboration with local market and global teams.
- Run the regional operating rhythm and drive accountability to targets while markets own local levers; capture opportunities and mitigate risks proactively.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
- Proven expertise in NWC & FCF: 6+ years of experience in relevant roles (regional / multi‑country corporate roles, audit or consulting) with deep understanding of NWC mechanics and FCF drivers.
- Advanced analytics and data fluency: strong analytical thinking and data management skills; confident with modern BI and finance tools. SAP experience is a clear advantage.
- A self‑starter mindset: set the agenda, partner across markets and functions, and raise standards through constructive, KPI‑led challenge.
- Relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or similar degree with fluency in English.
- Influence and stakeholder engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within Western Europe.
- Experience in pharma industry and Private Equity‑owned business preferred.
