Lifestyle National Account Sales Manager – France (B2B, Lifestyle & Premium/Luxury Footwear Retail)

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Lifestyle National Account Sales Manager to grow our B2B business across France. This is a high‑impact role focused on developing strategic customer relationships with national multi‑store retailers, driving sustainable sales growth, and expanding our presence within lifestyle and premium/luxury footwear retail channels.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience of growing sales within the French market, and will thrive in an autonomous, remote‑based role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Development & Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and strengthen long‑term partnerships with key national accounts.
  • Develop effective customer relationships across buying, merchandising, and senior leadership teams.
  • Identify opportunities to increase distribution, improve sell‑through, and enhance in‑store presence.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and commercial proposals.

2. New Business Development

  • Identify, target, and open new doors/accounts across France within lifestyle and premium/luxury retail accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate priority retail segments.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure profitable, sustainable partnerships.
  • Expand brand presence within footwear and adjacent lifestyle categories.
  • Drive revenue growth across existing and new accounts.
  • Deliver against annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retailer performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement seasonal sales strategies aligned with broader international objectives.

4. Forecasting & Reporting

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable market insights to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Maintain CRM and internal systems with up‑to‑date account data.

5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the French Sales team, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure successful launches and account execution.
  • Coordinate with UK‑based colleagues and attend periodic meetings in the UK.
  • Support international sales initiatives as required.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • Proven track record of growing B2B sales within France.
  • Strong experience working with lifestyle, footwear, or premium/luxury retailers, with an established network of contacts.
  • Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and expanding national distribution.
  • Experience managing national or key accounts at head office level.
  • Solid understanding of the French retail landscape.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability.
  • Excellent forecasting and analytical skills.
  • Confident presenter with strong relationship‑building abilities.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely with autonomy.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally to the UK.

Languages

  • Fluent French and English (written and spoken) required.
