Nanny/Governess job (M/F) in Paris, France

A family based in Paris 7th is seeking an experienced Nanny/Governess to provide attentive, structured care for their two young children within a refined and well-organised household.

Responsibilities

• Daily care of two children (aged 5 and 2), with different routines (full-time school for the eldest, mornings only for the youngest this year).
• Supporting their development through age-appropriate, engaging activities.
• Organising daily schedules and routines (school, activities, rest time).
• Managing the children’s day-to-day needs with initiative and anticipation.
• Preparing meals for the children.
• Handling all child-related duties (laundry, tidying, organisation), in coordination with the housekeeper already in place.
• Contributing to the smooth running of the household in collaboration with other staff.

Requirements

• Trustworthy, experienced, and autonomous, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into a structured and caring family environment.
• Well-organised, proactive, and adaptable.
• Strong educational approach and sense of responsibility.
• Able to work independently while being a team player within an existing household.
• Flexible and willing to travel with the family occasionally (2–3 weeks per year).
• Available for occasional evenings and a few weekends per year (approximately 2–3).

Work conditions

• Based in Paris 7th – live-out position
• Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week
• Long-term position

€2,500 to €3,500 net per month, depending on experience
