Named Account Executive - Public Sector ( Defense)

Role Overview
Salesforce is hiring a Sales Representative for the Public Sector division. In this fast‑growing team you will partner with government and public‑sector clients to help them achieve their business objectives using Salesforce solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with current and prospective clients as a trusted advisor to understand their challenges and objectives.
- Recommend Salesforce platform solutions that help clients reach business goals and open new opportunities.
- Manage full and complex sales cycles, presenting the value of the full suite of applications.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and grow existing relationships to increase adoption and revenue.
- Use Salesforce CRM to forecast, manage activity, and track opportunities.
- Prioritize multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales of enterprise applications, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong planning and account‑strategy skills; ability to develop plans to meet sales targets and qualify opportunities.
- Discovery experience – ability to uncover a prospect’s processes, challenges, and strategic objectives.
- Excellent solution‑development skills and the ability to articulate compelling value propositions.
- Strong client communication skills; clear, concise, and timely interactions.
- Team‑selling experience, aligning with account teams and partners to support client success.
- Fluency in both English and French.
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience selling enterprise applications to the public sector is highly preferred.
- Training in sales methodologies.
- Ability to develop business cases, service requirements, and design strategic alliances.
