Account Executive - Manufacturing

Account Executives (AE) engage with current and prospective customers to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in the C‑suite, serving as experts to help clients maximize their Salesforce investment. AEs develop opportunities through qualified leads and new account prospecting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop key relationships with stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction on assigned accounts.
  • Create and drive long‑term account strategies aligned with client business objectives.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sales process, mobilizing resources such as pre‑sales engineers, professional services, leadership, and partners.
  • Analyze territory to formalize a go‑to‑market strategy and establish a qualified target‑account list within 30 days.
  • Promote Salesforce's value proposition to existing and potential customers.
  • Drive growth within a portfolio of existing accounts.

Qualifications Required

  • Solid experience in consultative, high‑value‑add sales of complex or technology solutions (5‑10 years, preferably in software or professional applications), across multi‑industry segments.
  • Experience selling to C‑suite level executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional and expanded teams.
  • Understanding of the commercial challenges specific to customers in varied sectors.
  • Ability to work as a team to solve problems in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Experience will be evaluated for alignment with key role skills (e.g., leadership outside work, military, volunteer experience).
  • Proficient in English and French.

  • Creativity and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
  • Training in sales methodologies.
  • Experience managing large accounts.
  • Thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Consistent track record of surpassing quota.
  • Ability to develop profitability analyses (business cases) and service requirements while creating and managing strategic alliances.
