Murex S4C Integration Consultant

We are seeking a Murex S4C Cross Expert – MxML Integration to support complex integration delivery across Murex MX.3 projects in Paris. This role is focused on MxML workflows , interfaces , data flows , cross-stream integration , and front-to-back connectivity across Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, and downstream systems.

You will act as a senior integration expert, working across multiple workstreams to design, build, validate, and support S4C integration solutions . The role requires strong hands‑on capability in MxML Exchange , MxML workflows , static/trade/market data interfaces , transformation logic , error handling , and production support , with the ability to coordinate with client teams, Murex internal teams, and system integrators.

Requirements:

• 6–10+ years of Murex experience , with strong hands‑on exposure to MX.3 integration and S4C delivery .
• Deep expertise in MxML integration , including MxML Exchange , workflow configuration, message transformation, routing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience across trade data , static data , and market data interfaces, including inbound/outbound flows and downstream system connectivity.
• Proven ability to operate as a cross‑stream integration expert , supporting FO, BO, Risk, Reporting, and technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of STP workflows , acknowledgements, retries, error handling, reconciliation, and operational monitoring.
• Hands‑on technical skills with SQL , XML/XSLT , and Unix/Linux for investigation, data validation, log analysis, and support.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT , regression testing, interface validation, defect triage, and production readiness.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with client stakeholders, internal Murex SMEs, developers, support teams, and vendors.
• Nice to have: exposure to Datamart , packaged interfaces , Connectivity 2.0 , web services/APIs , or upgrade / migration programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support MxML integration workflows across Murex MX.3, ensuring reliable front-to-back data flow.
• Act as the S4C cross expert for integration topics, coordinating across multiple functional and technical workstreams.
• Build and maintain MxML Exchange configurations, message transformations, routing logic, validations, and interface controls.
• Support interfaces across trade, static, and market data , ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and downstream consistency.
• Investigate and resolve interface issues, including failed messages, mapping defects, data breaks, performance issues, and workflow errors.
• Support SIT/UAT and test campaigns, defining test scenarios, validating outputs, documenting defects, and coordinating fixes.
• Partner with client teams, internal Murex SMEs, and system integrators to clarify requirements and align integration design.
• Produce and maintain documentation including interface specifications, mapping documents, test evidence, runbooks, and release notes.
• Support production readiness and BAU handover, including monitoring setup, support procedures, error‑handling guidance, and knowledge transfer.
