About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Murex Production Manager to oversee business-critical Murex MX.3 production environments for key clients based in Paris. You will be responsible for production stability, incident and change management, service performance, and stakeholder coordination, while supporting platform enhancements and upcoming projects.

This is a senior, client-facing role requiring strong Murex expertise, production leadership, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced capital markets environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day management of Murex production services and ensure operational stability.
  • Lead incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
  • Monitor system performance, interfaces, batch processes, and EOD/EOM processing.
  • Coordinate releases, upgrades, patches, and production readiness activities.
  • Troubleshoot application and integration issues using Murex tools, SQL, and Unix/Linux.
  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, Murex experts, and third-party vendors.
  • Track service performance against SLAs/KPIs and provide regular reporting.
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge management assets.
  • Support resilience, audit, security, and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Mentor junior team members and support additional client environments when required.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Murex experience, including production management or senior production support.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Murex MX.3 architecture, interfaces, batch processing, and front-to-back workflows.
  • Proven experience supporting business-critical trading environments within banking or capital markets.
  • Expertise in incident, problem, change, and release management.
  • Strong SQL and Unix/Linux troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of capital markets products and trade lifecycles.
  • Experience with monitoring, scheduling, and ITSM tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Fluent English; professional French is highly desirable.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Murex upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, or platform extensions.
  • ITIL certification or strong service management background.
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, automation, or Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of Oracle/RDBMS, enterprise schedulers, observability tools, and DR/audit controls.
