MTO coordinator engineering

Capefront is currently looking for an experienced MTO Coordinator to join a major offshore engineering project.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Material Take-Off (MTO) coordination within offshore or subsea engineering projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to prepare, consolidate and maintain accurate material take-off documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate global Material Take-Off (MTO) packages.
• Coordinate MTO activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ensure consistency, completeness and accuracy of material quantities.
• Review engineering documentation to identify required materials.
• Maintain and update MTO databases throughout project execution.
• Support procurement and material management activities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Contribute to engineering digitalization initiatives.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Piping or Offshore Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience as an MTO Coordinator, Material Engineer or similar role.
• Experience on offshore, subsea or EPC/EPCI projects.
• Good understanding of engineering documentation.
• Experience with Material Take-Off (MTO) preparation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Material Management.
• Experience supporting Procurement teams.
• Knowledge of engineering databases and digital tools.
