Modern Workplace - M365 Architect

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that address real‑world business challenges.
• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models (supervised, unsupervised, deep learning).
• Implement and maintain data pipelines ensuring data quality and accessibility for model development and production.
• Operate on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) to operationalize AI solutions using appropriate services.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support integration of AI models into production systems.
• Stay current with AI/ML research and proactively share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in model performance, data quality, and deployment pipelines.
• Communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Lead the design and governance of DevOps CI/CD strategies and enterprise delivery pipelines.
• Architect and oversee implementation of Azure cloud solutions aligned to client business and technology strategies.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and DevOps practices across Azure environments.
• Provide technical leadership across project teams from requirements through architecture, delivery oversight, and operational hand‑over.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure architectures for modern workloads.
• Lead technical assessments and cloud adoption strategies for customers moving to Azure.
• Conduct architectural and technical reviews to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and business objectives.
• Mentor and guide analysts and consultants in delivery and capability development.
• Contribute to pre‑sales activities including solution shaping, estimations, proposals, and client presentations.
• Design and develop high‑performance, security‑focused, robust software components and APIs.
• Integrate with other backend systems.
• Apply agile/scrum software development practices.
• Conduct code reviews and suggest areas for refactoring and improvement.
• Develop and deliver Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform solutions to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams under challenging circumstances to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Share practices for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and extensibility knowledge with global teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Azure and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in .Net (Net 8 core), C#, Typescript, PowerShell, ASP.NET, Blazor, NuGet.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases and ADO.NET.
• Machine learning fundamentals and experience training ML models.
• Strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Knowledge of security compliance, architecture patterns, and scalable design.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and Teams Toolkit Agents.
• Optional: Experience with Linux environments, Java development, mainframe languages (COBOL, Natural, XGEN), mainframe databases (DB2, IMS, ADABAS), and working with global/offshore teams.
