Mission Ops Backend Engineer for Satellite Control

Loft Orbital is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the Mission Operations Services team. You will design and build backend tools that power passes, autopilots, and day-to-day satellite operations, handling commands and telemetry across multiple buses with a focus on safety and observability.

You will write production Python code, collaborating with flight software, embedded teams, and test groups to integrate new satellite buses into Cockpit, while supporting internal users and improving APIs
