MIS Functional Administrator

• Perform export and import operations between the Envision reference database and customer databases.
• Verify the integrity, completeness, and consistency of transferred data.
• Compare exported and imported datasets using dedicated validation tools.
• Identify, analyze, and document discrepancies, including added, removed, or modified records.
• Ensure airworthiness reference data remains accurate and compliant throughout transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Validation

• Perform export and import operations between the Envision reference database and customer databases.
• Verify the integrity, completeness, and consistency of transferred data.
• Compare exported and imported datasets using dedicated validation tools.
• Identify, analyze, and document discrepancies, including added, removed, or modified records.
• Ensure airworthiness reference data remains accurate and compliant throughout transfer processes.

Functional Support & Analysis

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 functional support related to the Envision Maintenance information System.
• Participate in the investigation and analysis of Level 3 incidents and software defects.
• Support root cause analysis activities for process deviations and data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with engineering, CAMO, and customer teams to resolve operational issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data management and validation processes.

Database Support

• Execute SQL queries and scripts to analyze and validate data.
• Perform data consultation, maintenance, and controlled updates when required.
• Support database backup and restoration activities.
• Assist with database performance and maintenance activities, including statistics refresh, database clean-up, and storage optimization.
• Review execution plans and index utilization to support database efficiency.

Safety & Compliance

• Escalate any data integrity issue that could impact aircraft airworthiness or flight safety.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain traceability and confidentiality of operational and customer data.

Deliverables

• Execution and validation of data transfers between the reference database and customer environments, ensuring consistency across all transferred datasets.
• Identification, investigation, and reporting of discrepancies detected during comparison activities, with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Support documentation related to system incidents, user requests, functional anomalies, and root cause investigations.
• Execution of SQL-based analyses, data verification activities, and database maintenance operations supporting system reliability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, Associate Degree, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information
• Systems, Software Development, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar functional administration, application support, or database-oriented role.
• Experience working with enterprise software applications and data management processes.
• Experience within aerospace, maintenance, or airworthiness environments is considered a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of SQL scripting and query execution.
• Ability to analyze and manipulate relational database data.
• Database backup and restoration knowledge.
• Understanding of database concepts, including indexes and execution plans.
• Experience with database statistics management and performance optimization.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot data integrity issues.
• Experience with data migration, import/export, and reconciliation activities.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Envision or similar maintenance management systems is an advantage.
