Mission

The candidate will join the middle office derivatives team of Candriam. The team oversees the following activities:

• Post trade on OTC derivatives and ETD.
• Collateral management.
• EMIR regulation.

Responsabilities

Daily Production:

 OTC derivatives processing

• Validate credit, rates and equity derivatives,
• Affirm trades on platform,
• Verify all life cycle cash flows (e.g. coupons, premiums & pay offs) and monitor settlements,

 ETD post trade

• Control the result of the automated matching,
• Monitor any break,

 Collateral management

• Process daily margin calls,
• Mitigate counterparty risk for OTC contracts,
• Resolve any dispute,
• Monitor settlement,

Project:

 Business Pocess review:

• Understand and master all the front to back processes related to derivatives trade processing and participate in the business process review,

 Business process specification:

• Interaction with business stakeholders to produce a description of the front-to-back derivative business processes.

 Operation Testing:

• Support of the team during the derivatives processes testing for the new target operating model.

 Parallel run:

• Support of the team during the parallel run between the old and the new target operating model.

 Legacy system decommissioning:

• Support of the team to achieve timely implementation of the new system and decommissioning of the legacy system.

Profile

• Good Understanding of Front to Back trade processing & workflows
• Mastery of financial instruments focus on OTC derivatives.
• Knowledge of the Multi Management.
• Good command of Excel
• He/She is highly skilled in English, French.
