Job Description

You join the Commodity Trade Finance Operations team as a Middle Office Commodity Trade Finance Manager.

On a daily basis, your missions are to:

• Monitor the risk and collateral of a portfolio of clients specialized in international commodity trading;
• Analyze and authorize or refuse funding requests submitted by clients in collaboration with the project manager;
• Maintain direct contact with international customers;
• Validate the implementation of financing (products used: short-term currency advances, overdrafts, issuance of documentary or stand-by credits, issuance of guarantees on first demand) in collaboration with the Back Offices;
• Ensure continuous monitoring of the risk and collateral related to these financings (documentary collateral and analysis of exposures according to the evolution of market prices on a day-to-day basis or via forward hedging instruments).

As a Middle Office Commodity Trade Finance Manager, you participate in the implementation of internal reporting tools on operations and in the daily updating of data.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education, you have at least 2 years of experience in Middle Office management positions.

• The concepts of finance and international trade;
• The field of raw materials or trading;
• The Office Pack tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and financial (Macro, VBA).

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen, you are:

• Proactive and rigorous;
• Team oriented;
• Recognized for your strong adaptability.

You master English with a C1 level.
