Mid QA Mobile Automation Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid QA Mobile Automation Engineer based in France.

This role offersthe opportunity tobuild and maintainrobustautomated testing solutionsfor modern iOSand Android applications.You’ll work hands-on with Appium2.0, C#/.NET8, and establishedmobile automation frameworks.Theposition combines testengineering, frameworkdevelopment, CI/CDintegration, and qualityassurance practices.You’ll help translateproduct requirements intoreliable, maintainable automated testsacross simulators, emulators, and real devices.The role involvesclose collaboration withtechnical and non-technical stakeholdersin an internationalenvironment.You’llalso contribute to improving testing processes, automation coverage, andoverall software quality.It’s a strongopportunity for aQA engineer lookingto deepen theirmobile automation expertisewhile working remotelyon international projects.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automatedmobile tests usingAppium 2.0 withC# and .NET8.
• Build and maintain automation solutions for both iOS and Android applications using appropriateframeworks and testingpractices.
• Perform iOS automationusing XCUITest Driveracross simulators andphysical devices, workingwith Xcode asrequired.
• Implement Android automationusing UiAutomator2 Driveracross emulators andphysical devices.
• Develop and maintainscalable test frameworksusing the PageObject Model (POM) design pattern.
• Use accessibility IDsand other robustlocator strategies tocreate reliable andmaintainable automatedtests.
• Create and manageNUnit test suites, including lifecycle management, setup and teardown, parallel execution, andparameterized testing.
• Use Appium Inspectorto identify elements, validate locators, troubleshootautomation scripts, andsupport debugging activities.
• Integrate automated testinginto Azure DevOpsand CI/CDpipelines to supportcontinuous quality validation.
• Work with Gitand collaborative developmentworkflows to maintainand review automationcode.
• Analyse functional andtechnical requirementsand translate theminto effective automatedtesting strategies.
• Apply QA methodologies and software testing best practices throughoutthe development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technicaland non-technicalstakeholders to identifyquality risks, communicatefindings, and supportcontinuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in mobile testautomation, particularlywith Appium 2.0, C#, and .NET8.
• Strong knowledge ofmobile automation frameworksand testing bestpractices for bothiOS and Android.
• Hands-on experience with XCUITest Driver,including simulator andreal-device testing, plus familiarity withXcode.
• Solid experience with UiAutomator2 Driver forAndroid automation acrossemulators and physicaldevices.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining test frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM).
• Proficiency with accessibility-id as alocator strategy forstable and maintainableautomation.
• Experience with NUnit, including test lifecyclemanagement, setup/teardown, parallel execution, andparameterized testing.
• Experience using AppiumInspector for elementidentification, locatorvalidation, and automationdebugging.
• Proficiency with Gitand collaborative softwaredevelopment practices.
• Experience with AzureDevOps and integratingautomated tests intoCI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software QAprinciples, testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to analyserequirements and turnthem into effectiveautomated testing solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technicaland non-technicalteams.
• Degree in ComputerEngineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, ora related technicaldiscipline.
• Fluency in writtenand spoken English.
