Microsoft 365 Messaging & Carve-Out Architect

We’re working with a client on a Microsoft 365 transformation programme , with a strong focus on carve-out / carve-in activities and tenant-to-tenant migrations .

They’re looking for a Senior M365 Architect with deep messaging expertise , capable of leading the design and delivery of complex separation and integration programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead carve-out / carve-in programmes across Microsoft 365 environments
• Own tenant-to-tenant migrations , with a focus on identity and messaging separation
• Design and deliver Exchange Online / messaging architecture , including:
• Mail flow design
• Coexistence strategy
• Hybrid Exchange environments
• Cutover planning and execution
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to define migration strategy and architecture
• Oversee delivery teams (migration engineers / consultants) to ensure successful execution

Key Requirements

• Strong experience delivering M365 carve-out / tenant-to-tenant programmes
• Deep Exchange / Messaging expertise (must-have):
• Exchange Online
• Hybrid Exchange
• Mail routing, coexistence, cutovers
• Proven background xuezdbg in large-scale migration programmes (M&A / separation)
• Solid understanding of Entra ID / identity in M365 environments
• Experience working in enterprise environments (multi-tenant / multi-country)

Nice to have

• Broader M365 knowledge (Teams, SharePoint, security)
• Experience in regulated industries (finance, enterprise, etc.)
