Method Engineer (Offshore / Nearshore Installation)
We are currently looking for a Method Engineer to join one of our clients starting early September .
This is a hands on engineering role focused on defining, developing, and supporting installation methodologies and execution procedures for offshore and nearshore construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define installation methodologies for pipeline laying, trenching, anchoring, and underwater civil works.
- Prepare Method Statements, Installation Procedures, Work Packs, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, geotechnical, marine, and project teams to ensure consistency and feasibility of proposed methodologies.
- Contribute to risk assessments, lifting plans, mobilisation plans, and equipment deployment procedures.
- Define installation sequences, acceptance criteria, and operational constraints, including weather windows, currents, and bathymetry.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to validate execution methods and ensure technical compliance.
- Provide technical support during construction, mobilisation, and offshore installation phases.
- Participate in offshore mobilisations when required, particularly during the early stages of the project.
Required Profile
- 5–7 years of experience in offshore or nearshore engineering, construction, or operations.
- Strong knowledge of offshore installation methodologies and execution planning.
- Experience preparing technical documentation such as Method Statements and Work Packs.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Willingness to travel and participate in offshore mobilisations as required.
