ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Retail Experience Team, the Temporary Merchandising Manager leads the development of fragrance temporary activations across a portfolio of brands. The role covers the definition of designs, guidelines, and activation toolkits, while supporting VM teams worldwide in the design, development, and installation of temporary spaces. Working closely with Global Trade Marketing, Marketing, Digital, and Education teams, as well as with the different fashion houses, the manager is responsible for translating brand strategies into compelling in-store designs and elevated consumer experiences. The manager will report to the Retail Experience Director.
KEY MISSIONS
- Work closely with Marketing and 360 teams to translate campaign launches into impactful in-store activations, ensuring consistency with brand strategy and storytelling.
- Collaborate with fashion houses to adapt brand vision into temporary retail experiences, creating strong consumer journeys across all touchpoints (launches, animations, pop‑ups, podiums).
- Lead the development of temporary activations from creative brief to execution (design, prototyping, production), in close collaboration with procurement, external agencies, and suppliers.
- Ensure high‑quality and consistent execution of all launches across markets, balancing central guidelines with local needs and constraints.
- Support markets in the rollout of animations and launches, ensuring compliance with brand standards from design validation to production and installation.
- Oversee the development of activation toolkits (guidelines, POSM, assets) to support efficient and consistent deployment across regions.
- Continuously improve ways of working, tools, and processes to increase speed, efficiency, and clarity in execution.
- Lead and support project managers, ensuring clear priorities, workload balance, and strong delivery across all projects.
- Manage temporary budget and oversee PO creation and follow‑up, ensuring cost control and alignment with project priorities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5‑8 years of relevant experience, preferably in luxury beauty with a global scope.
- University graduate or business school degree, preferably with a creative background.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Professional experience with creative software (Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp in priority).
