The Consumer Goods Forum is hiring a Manager for its EMEA Membership Department.
The Manager’s role:
- To strengthen current members engagement in CGF’s Coalitions of Action, Business Solutions, Events and other CGF activities
- To further develop and execute the EMEA prospect strategy to recruit new members
The Manager will report to the Director, CGF Europe, Middle East & Africa.
The position is based at the CGF’s headquarters in France (Levallois‑Perret).
Key Responsibilities
Current Member Engagement
- Drive loyalty and engagement among current CGF members in EMEA through dynamic and innovative Key Account Management.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing CGF members, ensuring sustained value and engagement.
- Engage at CEO and C‑suite level to build and maintain strong strategic relationships.
- Develop and execute tailored member engagement plans, collaborating with the CGF Coalition and Event teams to create new opportunities and increase member touchpoints.
- Increase Coalition participation within your member portfolio.
- Promote and facilitate engagement opportunities, both in‑person and virtual, for CEOs and other member executives.
- Analyse member feedback, industry insights, to continually enhance the CGF's member value proposition.
New Member Sales & Prospect Relations
- Drive growth and strengthen CGF’s future membership by building strategic relationships with prospects and new members across EMEA.
- Develop and refine the EMEA prospect strategy in coordination with the EMEA Director, shaping the direction for tomorrow’s CGF.
- Lead and ensure the success of the Summit Discovery Programme, driving engagement with potential members.
- Manage key prospect and new member relationships using existing tools, such as the Board Welcome Lunch, focusing on strategic engagement rather than logistics or sponsorships.
- Design and implement new engagement tools and opportunities, leveraging both in‑person and virtual platforms to connect with prospects.
Other Key Responsibilities
- Manage CGF relationship with targeted industry events, enhancing member value and raising the profile of CGF Coalitions (e.g., at Sial, Anuga), while identifying other, new high‑value opportunity events.
- Serve as CGF ambassador at national and international events and meetings, in coordination with the EMEA Director.
- Facilitate dialogue with coalition leaders and provide membership team coaching on specific coalition topics, including environmental responsibility, social sustainability, and health & wellness.
- Oversee the EMEA membership communications plan in coordination with the CGF Communications Director and manage membership enquiries as required.
- Contribute to process optimization and cross‑region coordination, ensuring smooth and effective membership operations.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, key account management and engagement with C‑suite executives.
- Ability to connect, influence, and build long‑term relationships with CEOs and senior decision‑makers.
- Strong capacity to understand, articulate, and translate CGF’s work into clear, tangible value for members and prospects.
- Exceptional communicator — clear, concise, and confident in both written and verbal interactions.
- High professional standards, demonstrating excellence, credibility, and integrity in all activities.
- Strong ability to prioritise and deliver results effectively while maintaining high quality.
- Customer‑ and member‑focused, with a proactive approach to understanding and meeting their needs.
- Strategic and critical thinker, able to align goals and initiatives with CGF’s mission and the broader business context of its members.

- Knowledge of the consumer goods industry and relevant networks is advantageous.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Digitally proficient, with familiarity in Google Workspace and Salesforce.
