Member of the IFME (Türkiye Desk)
The Institut Français des Mondes Eurasiatiques (IFME) is currently seeking motivated volunteer contributors to join its growing editorial team. As a young and ambitious initiative bringing together an international network of researchers and analysts, IFME offers a dynamic environment for those wishing to engage in meaningful intellectual work at the intersection of international relations and area studies.
Our contributors are researchers, graduate students (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent experience preferred), and early-career professionals who care about getting Russia right. We publish policy briefs, academical articles, host conferences, attend events, and contribute to IFME's newsletter. If you want to contribute seriously and work with a team that takes ideas seriously, we want to hear from you.
We would like to emphasise that this post is voluntary , no remuneration will be provided , as we are a voluntary research institute (French law of association 1901).
Co-Head, Turkey Desk (~5–8 hrs/week)
You will lead the Turkey Desk's research agenda, coordinate researchers, and oversee publications before release. Graduate-level expertise on Turkey is required. Turkish language proficiency is a strong plus.
Open call across all our thematic areas: economic affairs, culture, the Turkish defense industry, history, sociology, domestic politics, and international relations — including Turkey's relations across Eurasia and its role as an emerging power. You will write analytical pieces, track developments in your field, and participate in the editorial process. Turkish is appreciated but not required.
