Medical Science Liaison

Medical Science Liaison – North France (Full‑time, Permanent). Location: North France (Paris region). Department: Medical Affairs. The role covers North France including Paris, Lille, Rennes, Nancy.

The position focuses on the Infectiology therapeutic area within the Medical Affairs team. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will build and nurture scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers, provide scientific support, and translate insights into strategic plans.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop HCP lists, including key external experts (KEEs), territory coverage plans, and external engagement strategies.
• Share emerging on‑label data or disease information with HCPs, discussing all aspects of the data in a scientific, objective, and balanced way.
• Work with KEEs/HCPs as partners in scientific activities that advance disease understanding.
• Identify potential speakers and review scientific data to prepare them, if appropriate.
• Interact with the medical community in context of various medical projects such as clinical trials, investigator‑initiated trials (IITs), scientific exchange meetings, etc.
• Provide non‑promotional scientific support to other company activities (e.g., hospital formulary listing, payer activities, speaker training meetings).
• Respond to unsolicited requests for information about Mundipharma products, including products in development, in a timely, objective and scientifically balanced manner.
• Integrate scientific knowledge with insights from interactions with HCPs to provide the organization with an understanding of the local medical community, clinical practice trends, and gaps in current scientific knowledge and treatment data.
• Where applicable, provide medical and scientific expertise in the brand/therapy area to internal stakeholders, including conducting therapeutic area and product training for commercial colleagues.
• Remain abreast of the latest scientific knowledge and developments in defined domains of expertise through structured training programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.
• Proven experience as an MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in Infectiology / Infectious Disease or Onco‑Haematology therapeutic areas is ideal but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong personal integrity, and customer focus.
• Good organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Strong understanding of the Infectiology disease area and patient‑centred approach.
• Commercial awareness and knowledge of product launch and commercialization.
• Track record of aligning with Mundipharma’s core values and contributing to business strategy.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and present scientific concepts clearly.
