Medical Expert (x/f/m)
What you’ll do
Doctolib is looking for a medical expert to join our Medical Excellence team, and contribute to the delivery of medical innovations with a direct public health impact. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the value of medical features and medical content on all our products across Europe. We work to deliver software products that are scientifically and medically robust.
Your mission
While your end mission will be to help our users deliver better care and people take better care of their health, you'll be supporting our Product Tech teams crafting and developing the best solutions to fit their needs. Integrated in our features teams you'll be working on a specific product domain.
Responsibilities
Functionality
- Work hand-in-hand with our product and tech team to ensure we build the best products from a scientific and medical standpoint
- Assess the medical value and risks of medical features in our products to ensure development of qualitative, safe and reliable products and review the related specifications
- Review and validate medical features before roll‑out to ensure accuracy and quality, including AI model performance when relevant
- Maintain medical features content up to date to provide healthcare professionals with accurate up to date medical information
Content
- In product content: medical guidelines and templates (ex: prescription template, care plan explanation), decision trees or algorithms based on recommendations, for both doctors and patients
- Media marketing content:
- Participate to the definition implementation of the medical knowledge strategy for Doctolib products
- Review medical features content to validate accuracy of messaging conveying medical information to healthcare professionals or patients
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end content creation and validation programs on your scope, including interactions with public organisations, scientific society, doctors, …
Coordination Monitoring
- Perform scientific medical bibliography to ensure all content products on your scope rely on trusted sources
- Work in close collaboration with healthcare professionals (Doctolib pioneers) as well as many teams within Doctolib (Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, …) to ensure that we provide the best medical tools to doctors and patients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a medical doctor (generalist, public health, pediatrician)
- Previous experience in tech software development environment
- Strong appetence for science and a strong promoter of the evidence based approach, with published scientific papers in the last 3 years
- Practice as a clinician at least 1 day/week and open to maintaining a 1‑day/week clinical practice
- Structured, detail‑oriented and with a strong analytical mindset
- Strong project management skills, action/result‑oriented and hands‑on
- Product user‑centric
- Fluent in French and English (German and Italian are a plus)
