Medical Device Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Engineer for a global leading manufacturer. This role will be covering the France region with travel to neighbouring European countries.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Onsite and remote troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repairs on medical equipment.
2. Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications or upgrades in certain time frames.
3. Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understanding and troubleshooting on an application level.
4. Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area.
5. Three years’ work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred.
6. Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
7. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
9. Ability to travel on short notice and stay overnight.
