Med-Tech Industrialization Manager
Overview
EssilorLuxottica is looking for an Industrialization Manager to lead the industrialization of our MedTech product portfolio. The role reports to the Head of Med‑Tech Manufacturing and bridges R&D, sourcing, supply chain, and manufacturing sites.
This manager focuses on consolidating our organization in the industrialization of MedTech products.
Responsibilities
The Industrialization Manager focuses on four key areas:
- Industrialization of new products : participate in product design to propose the best manufacturing option, develop the manufacturing process with site methods (process qualification IOQ/OQ/PQ, manufacturing procedure, tooling and testing development, testing benches, process improvement, support for CE/FDA/NMPA registration).
- Product sustaining and improvement : manage change requests from R&D, sourcing, and manufacturing to improve costs, reliability, and performance.
- Manufacturing performance : benchmark sites, share best practices within GEARS departments, and promote a lean manufacturing culture.
- Industrial project management : oversee product transfer to other sites, automation projects, and capacity expansion projects.
The team of engineers is still being finalized in order to gradually integrate the entire scope.
Candidate Profile
- MSc in engineering, with 5 to 10 years in industrial management.
- Significant experience in manufacturing or industrialization of medical devices with mechatronics systems.
- Strong spirit of service, analytical and business mindset, driven by continuous improvement through pragmatic questioning.
- Rigorous, structured, with excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoys teamwork in a multicultural context.
- Fluent in English; French is appreciated.
- Frequent travel to R&D and manufacturing sites in France, Europe, North America, and China.
