Mechanical Package Manager

SilverBack is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data center project in France .

Working as part of the project delivery team, you'll take ownership of the Mechanical Package , coordinating HVAC, cooling systems, piping, plumbing and associated mechanical infrastructure throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the Mechanical Package across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage mechanical construction activities including HVAC, cooling systems, piping, plumbing and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring delivery against project requirements, schedule, budget, quality and safety targets.
• Review technical documentation, specifications, drawings and construction deliverables, coordinating interfaces with electrical, I&C, security, logistics and civil teams.
• Monitor package progress, risks and commissioning readiness, resolving technical and construction issues and supporting final system handover.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 8 years' experience in mechanical construction delivery on complex industrial, mission-critical or data center projects.
• Previous Data Centre project experience is required .
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling infrastructure, piping systems and commissioning activities.
• Proven experience managing mechanical subcontractors and suppliers.
• Experience managing mechanical packages through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong project management, construction management and stakeholder coordination experience. xuezdbg
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
