Mechanical Integration Engineer for Terahertz Camera Systems– Internship

You will join TiHive's Industrial Operations team, which is responsible for the industrialisation of our Vision Systemsand their deployment at customer facilities.

This is a multidisciplinary role offering hands-on experience at the intersection of mechanical engineering, optics, and industrialisation. You will gain valuable exposure to the lifecycle of deep tech products — from design and prototyping to real-world deployment in industrial environments.

Your Missions
As part of your internship/apprenticeship, you will:

• Participate in the mechanical design and integration of electro-optical and mechanical components within TiHive products (including CAD design, simulations, testing, and validation)

• Contribute to the deployment of TiHive's solutions at customer production sites — from initial setup to operational rollout

• Assist the team in rapidly prototyping new concepts, product iterations, and mechanical improvements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product), as well as external suppliers and vendors

• Support effective communication with internal stakeholders and customer technical teams

• Be an active member of our interdisciplinary innovation teams, contributing to creative problem-solving and continuous improvement
