Mechanical Engineer / PhD

You will work on both design and simulation, with a key role in developing deeptech projects.

1. Mechanical Design

• Design of mechanical parts and sub-assemblies
• Mechatronic integration (motors, actuators, embedded electronics)
• Mechanical sizing (stress, fatigue, thermal, tolerances)
• Material and manufacturing process selection
• Active participation in prototyping and product iterations

2. Modeling & Simulation

• Parametric 3D modeling
• Mechanical simulation (static, dynamic, vibratory)
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Multiphysics coupling (thermal, magnetic, fluid depending on projects)
• Contribution to numerical validation before prototyping

You won't just be a designer. You will contribute to transforming how industrial systems are conceived, modeled, and optimized.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or PhD in mechanical engineering
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion, CATIA or equivalent)
• Experience in FEA simulation (Ansys, Abaqus, Code_Aster or equivalent)
• Good understanding of mechatronic systems
• Structured mindset, ability to formalize and model

Nice to have

• Experience with electric machines or actuators
• Interest in AI applied to engineering
• Python or scripting basics
