Mechanical Engineer - France, Paris - Permanent Contract

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre company that partners with the world’s largest technology firms to provide robust and sustainable operating infrastructure. With significant investments secured, this data centre group is entering their next phase of growth and are looking to bring on board a Mechanical Engineer.

What you'll do:

• Support in the management of the master planning of sites pre‑acquisition, working closely with the site selection, leasing, and Development and Construction teams
• Be part of a close‑knit team, effectively supporting the full life cycle projects, guiding Senior Management around both internal and external resource management
• Assist in managing consultant teams in their delivery on behalf of the client, challenging the consultants to continually evolve and improve
• Support in contract review, negotiation, and execution, utilising knowledge of varying Design and Construction contract forms. Knowledge of VOB contracts would be an advantage

What you'll need:

• Previous experience in mechanical or building services engineering and project management
• Expertise in designing and delivering mechanical systems for data centres, including HVAC, cooling infrastructure (air‑cooled, water‑cooled, hybrid cooling), fire suppression systems, and air distribution networks such as AHUs and pressurised systems
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software
