Mechanical Calculation Engineer M/F
Mechanical Calculation Engineer M/FIn an environment where technical requirements, reliability and precision drive every decision, this Mechanical Calculation Engineer M/F position is aimed at a professional capable of providing a detailed understanding of mechanical phenomena and transforming complex issues into robust solutions. You will work on high value-added projects in the energy sector, alongside project teams seeking methodical, rigorous and results-oriented support. In this role, the challenge is not only to perform calculations: it is to contribute actively to the design, validation and securing of technical solutions, relying on recognized calculation expertise and a collaborative approach. You will operate in a context where high standards go hand in hand with open dialogue, and where your ability to question, propose and argue technically will make the difference. The role values autonomy, analytical skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders to move projects forward accurately and efficiently.
Perform mechanical sizing, verification and justification calculations for structures, equipment or subassemblies.
Analyze mechanical stresses, boundary conditions and calculation assumptions in order to secure technical choices.
Produce and formalize calculation deliverables: notes, reports, justification summaries and technical files.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to engineering, design and project teams.
Communicate with the various disciplines involved to align calculation models with functional, regulatory and project requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of calculation methods, tools and standards used in projects.
Ensure consistency between calculation results, customer expectations and performance, safety and mechanical integrity objectives.
This role requires a solid technical foundation, built up over several years of experience, as well as the ability to approach mechanical topics with method, curiosity and attention to detail. We are looking for an engineer capable of taking a step back from calculation results, explaining their implications and placing them within a project logic.
