Examines equipment and vehicles to determine nature and extent of damage or malfunction

Raises vehicle with hydraulic jack or hoist to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle

Removes unit such as engine transmission or differential

Repairs or replaces parts such as pistons rods gears valves and bearing

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of hands on mechanical experience

Associates degree or technical training preferred

Equivalent work experience will be considered

CDL preferred not required
