Materials Planning Associate Manager H/F
Reports to: MSM Selfcare Senior Manager

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface with suppliers for all materials‑related topics, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams including Planning, Sourcing, Deliver, internal and external manufacturing sites, R&D, Marketing, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance.
- Build and maintain strong, cooperative supplier relationships to enhance communication, meet KPIs (e.g., sOTIF, compliance), and drive root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive the materials planning strategy, including inventory targets, supplier operating models, and contingency plans to anticipate and mitigate high‑probability risks.
- Ensure mid‑ to long‑term materials availability and lead resolution of structural supply gaps.
- Lead crisis management activities, support material allocation when required, and communicate material risks and mitigation plans to relevant stakeholders.
- Consolidate, prioritize, elevate, and monitor supply‑related issues, projects, and initiatives for assigned commodities through to resolution.
- Own Supplier Performance Management by establishing and maintaining reliability metrics, leading Supplier RCCPs, and driving supply‑related continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support partner functions on key supplier initiatives (e.g., lead‑time reduction, forecast improvement) and act as the primary “Supply Reliability” representative for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance proactive risk‑management processes, including early risk detection and mitigation, and define contingency plans for escalated risks.
- Partner with Sourcing to ensure supplier engagements balance cost and service requirements and meet Supply Chain needs.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. A Business, Engineering, Science, Technical, or related degree is preferred.
- Masters Degree or an MBA is preferred.
- Fluent in English. French is a strong plus.
- Other related professional certifications (e.g., APICS, ISM, Process Excellence/Six Sigma) are desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MSM, Supply Planning, Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or similar Operations roles.
- The Materials Planner Associate Manager must possess experience in senior stakeholder presentations/management and demonstrate strength in analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An understanding of manufacturing operations and plants is preferred.
- Experience with MRP systems, such as SAP, is highly desired.
- Insight into End‑to‑End supply chain characteristics and understanding of financial processes such as business case development, P&L calculation, and COGS is preferred.
