Material Supply Associate Manager H/F

Role reports to: MSM Selfcare Senior Manager.

Location: Europe / Middle East / Africa, France, Normandy, Val‑de‑Reuil. Work site: full onsite.

Overview

Kenvue is recruiting for the Material Supply Associate Manager role. The position oversees end‑to‑end supply of raw materials and packaging components for the Self Care segment at our Val‑de‑Reuil production site. Responsibilities include collaborating with regional and global sourcing teams to align supplier strategies with business needs, local market dynamics, cost structures and supplier capabilities. You will work with planning, quality and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure supply chain responsibility, align interdependent initiatives and execute projects and business objectives. The role also enhances customer service, supplier performance, product quality and compliance, and end‑to‑end lead times. You will implement processes, systems and reporting to improve efficiency, leverage technology, apply best practices and track performance against set objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for suppliers on all material‑related matters in collaboration with planning, sourcing, delivery, production sites, R&D, marketing, engineering, quality, regulatory and finance.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative supplier relationships to improve communication, achieve KPI targets such as SOTIF and compliance, drive root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Define and drive material planning strategy, including stock objectives, supplier operational models and contingency plans to anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure medium‑to‑long‑term material availability and drive resolution of structural supply gaps.
  • Manage crisis activities, support material allocation when needed, and communicate supply risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Consolidate, prioritize, escalated and track supply‑related issues, projects and initiatives until resolution.
  • Drive supplier performance management by setting and maintaining reliability indicators, conducting Supplier RCCP and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support partner functions with key supplier initiatives such as lead‑time reduction and forecast improvement, and serve as the main representative for supply reliability with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop proactive risk‑management processes, detect early risks and mitigate them, and define contingency plans for escalated risks.
  • Partner with sourcing to ensure supplier commitments balance cost and service requirements and meet supply‑chain needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree. Commerce, engineering, science, technical field or related discipline preferred.
  • Master’s degree or MBA an advantage.
  • Excellent proficiency in English and French.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS, ISM, Process Excellence, or Six Sigma desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MSM, procurement planning, strategic sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing or related operational functions required.
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Understanding of industrial operations and manufacturing environment appreciated.
  • Experience with MRP systems such as SAP highly desired.
  • Knowledge of end‑to‑end supply‑chain characteristics and financial processes such as business case development, P&L and COGS calculations is an advantage.
