At Symrise, the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment leverages its expertise and scientific research to provide its clients and partners with unique and sustainable solutions based on natural ingredients in the areas of taste, nutrition, and health. With more than 100 sites in over 40 countries, this segment serves the food and beverage industry as well as manufacturers of pet food and aquaculture. It is structured into two divisions — Food & Beverage and Pet Food.
The Pet Food division offers product solutions and services to improve palatability and acceptance of pet food, ensure its safety, and support animal health. To study food acceptance, feeding behavior, and interactions between pets and their owners, the division operates four expert centers with approximately 1,000 owned dogs and cats.
Following the principle “closer is better,” Symrise Pet Food, within the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment, serves its customers from more than 30 sites worldwide.
Your role
Within an international environment, you contribute to operational performance by leading and optimizing PLM and Master Data processes, playing a key role in data quality and structuring.
SAP PLM is an integrated system within SAP that enables the management of a reliable repository of information on raw materials, products, and packaging linked to ERP flows. It ensures regulatory and QHSE compliance, feeds the ERP system, and enables the generation of required documents.
PLM coordination & support
- Act as the PLM key user for Thailand: support, training, and animation of the user community
- Coordinate business teams to ensure data production and reliability
- Ensure compliance with document management rules and data governance standards
Quality, compliance & continuous improvement (PLM)
- Monitor the quality and consistency of PLM data
- Manage documentation (creation, validation, traceability, archiving)
- Administer the PLM system (access rights, settings, workflows) while ensuring confidentiality
- Identify issues, perform testing, and drive continuous improvement
Master Data management
- Manage and secure product and Business Partner data within ERP systems
- Ensure consistency, uniqueness, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Coordinate stakeholders involved in data validation and enrichment
Continuous improvement & monitoring
- Define and track data quality KPIs
- Analyze gaps and implement corrective actions
- Contribute to the data strategy and deploy standards with global teams
Cross-functional activities & group projects
- Collect business needs and contribute to the evolution of tools and data models
- Support ERP deployments (testing, data validation, user training)
- Participate in Group digitalization initiatives
- Share knowledge and ensure business continuity (backup)
About you
Education & experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Data Management, IT, Food Industry, Chemistry, Marketing, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Master Data, PLM/PIM, or ERP projects
- Good understanding of product development processes (ideally in B2B environments)
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data analysis
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, and ERP systems (SAP and/or AX ideally)
Key skills
- Strong ability to work in cross-functional environments (R&D, regulatory, supply chain, quality, finance, IT)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset
- Autonomy, prioritization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to simplify complex topics and ensure adherence to rules
Languages
- Professional English required
- Thai is a plus
