Marketplace Trust & Safety Project Leader

• Ensure the secure development of the Marketplace by applying European and local regulatory standards
• Define and lead regulatory compliance projects (GDPR, Digital Services Act, P2B, Extended Producer Responsibility)
• Build the operational roadmap to align the platform with VLOP requirements
• Manage direct relationships with authorities and handle priority requests from them
• Map operational risks and deploy internal control systems
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with legal, technical, and commercial teams
• Train operational teams on business impacts
• Eventually manage the compliance team
• Report directly to the Head of Product & Tech Marketplace

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or university)
• At least 8 years of experience managing complex projects
• Experience at a large-scale e-commerce platform (VLOP) or with a specialized consulting/audit firm
• Strong command of the regulatory framework applicable to e-commerce and online platforms
• Ability to independently conduct data analyses to validate metrics and hypotheses
• Fluent French and English, both written and spoken
• Structured approach to solving complex problems in a demanding environment
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong arbitration and decision-making skills when addressing regulatory emergencies
