The Climate Dividends Initiative

Climate Dividends is a non-profit association co-founded by Ademe , Mirova , Team for the Planet , Sweep , 2050 and Fondation Kanopée Partage and chaired by Brune Poirson .

We carry a mission that is both technical and systemic: accelerating the financing of the transition by creating the standard for positive climate contribution.

Our mechanism

We have designed the Climate Dividends, a methodological framework and a certification mechanism that allows for the quantification of a company's positive climate impact (in tonnes of CO2e avoided or removed) and its integration into company valuation.

1 tonne of CO2e avoided / removed = 1 Climate Dividend, issued and \"distributed\" to shareholders.

The objective : To make this indicator the compass for international institutions to direct massive capital towards solutions that truly save the climate.

1 tonne of CO₂e avoided or removed by the company’s activity > 1 Climate Dividend distributed to the shareholder.
