Marketing Communications Intern

Interns must be digitally fluid, internationally-minded, a quick learner, and has a sense of autonomy and initiative to work with a team and interdependent workflow. This is a remote internship for 15‑20 hours/week, 3‑4 months minimum, and is unpaid, with possible paid opportunities in the future. If you’re a student and require a full‑time internship, that is also possible. Let’s talk!

There are weekly team meetings, typically Monday afternoons.

Responsibilities

  • Creating imagery (combining photos, graphics, text) for use on multiple social media platforms.
  • Creating and/or editing videos, adding music, graphics, etc.
  • Managing and increasing followers on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, & Tiktok).
  • Attending recruitment events (in person and online).
  • Research, data collection, and management.
  • Communicating (usually email) with large organizations, universities, journalists, other relevant potential partners.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of (or willing to learn quickly) on Google Docs/Sheets, Zoom/Teams, Figma, Canva, and possibly other creative platforms.
  • Understanding the latest trends on social media for maximized visibility.
  • Must manage time well and adhere to scheduled tasks while working remotely.
  • Must have a drive to reach shared goals.
  • Must be adapted to fluid communication.
  • Must be fluent in English. French is a plus.
