Job Description
The IMCAS Marketing Department, specifically the Partnership & Press Team, offers an apprenticeship with a diverse list of tasks, guaranteed to provide crucial hands‑on experience in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting on Media & Scientific Partnerships
- Evaluating current and potential partners & their events: reviewing partners’ results and searching for new leads.
- Updating our directory of scientific societies after board changes.
- Drafting and sending partnership proposals to selected partners, with follow‑up until the partnership is secured.
- Ensuring that all items provided by our partners in the proposals are successfully completed on their side.
- Creating all necessary visuals and videos with the graphic and AV team.
- Liaising with scientific, logistic, communication and sales departments to implement the items we provide to our partners.
- Identifying new media partnership opportunities and developing new ideas and visibility opportunities for partners.
- Assisting on Press activities
- Filtering and registering journalists requesting press accreditation.
- Analyzing the weekly media monitoring sent by our press agency.
- Helping with the preparation and follow‑up of press activities (press tours, releases, conferences, etc.).
- Assisting on the Worldwide Event Agenda
- Updating our events calendar daily using the available processes and tools.
- Selecting events where promotional material will be sent.
- Coordinating printing and sending marketing material to selected events.
- Obtaining the listing of all our 2027 congresses in online directories.
- Assisting with registration needs on our database.
- During the congress IMCAS World 2027 (January 28-30)
- In‑person registration for event participants.
- Meeting with partners and our board of directors.
- Implementation checks of the items we provide to our partners.
- Press activities coordination with our press agency and journalists.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
This position involves being diplomatic, rigorous, organized, and resourceful.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, event, or a related field.
- C1+ proficiency in English & French (fluent in both).
- Attention to detail.
- Multitasker.
- Capacity to work autonomously.
- Team player.
- Curiosity—this cross‑functional role works with all departments.
- Experience in a partnership role is a plus.
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe (InDesign, Premiere), and additional photo/video software is a plus.
