Job Description

Join the entity Chief Operating Office CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking)! Within the Global Market Operations (GMO) department and the Corp Actions Voluntary / Market Operations team, you will be the first entry point in the operational chain for market data and corporate actions. In this position, you will interact closely with the Front Office, IT and other key teams.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

• Manage essential market data and produce the Golden Copy via the CAT (Corporate Action Tool);
• Provide support to the Front Office (data, corporate actions, position adjustments);
• Carry out the listed derivatives reseging operations in connection with market developments;
• Analyze and record complex corporate actions (mergers, splits, capital increases, distributions...);
• Manage alerts and provide operational support to other teams (Middle, Back, IT);
• Monitor data in front-end systems (Sophis, Summit OTC) and ensure the reliability of parameters.

Your role is key to ensuring the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data in a very short timeframe, in order to secure trading desk results.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

About you: If you recognize yourself in the following description, you are made to work with us!

With a higher education in finance, you have at least 3 years of experience within an investment bank as a middle or back market officer.

• The activities and products of Corporate Actions markets;
• Knowledge of financial instruments (shares, listed derivatives, interest rate products, loans, repos...);
• The Sophis and Excel system with an advanced level.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

• Rigorous and analytical, with a requirement for reliability;
• Equipped with the ability to anticipate and respond quickly to unforeseen events and emergencies;
• Able to work in a team and with varied interlocutors;
• Recognized for your sense of service and support, particularly in the Front Office.

You master English with a minimum B2 level.
