MARKET BUSINESS ANALYST

Théa Open Innovation , the subsidiary dedicated to enriching the Théa Group pipeline through licensing‑in and acquisitions, is looking for a Business Analyst .

You conduct analyses and provide recommendations on the potential and profitability of projects—at early stages or in new markets—to support decision‑making regarding whether to develop or acquire these projects. This assessment is based on medical‑scientific and economic evaluations, as well as input from evaluation committees.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze market trends, competition, and prevalence data to identify opportunities in new and existing therapeutic areas.
• Assess product and market potential in early development stages.
• Benchmark product profiles against current and future competitors to identify strengths and differentiation.
• Contribute to Due Diligence , refine time‑to‑market estimates, and support P&L model development.
• Build medium‑and-long‑term business forecasts (volumes, pricing, revenue).
• Prepare clear evaluation dossiers to support strategic decisions by Executive Management.
• Stay on top of the healthcare and scientific landscape by attending congresses and monitoring industry developments.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in an international environment as a Business Analyst, Business Intelligence—ideally in the pharmaceutical industry (ophthalmology is a plus).
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a high sense of rigor and reliability.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional experts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with partners, KOLs, subsidiaries, and internal stakeholders.
• Naturally curious , with a strong scientific mindset and the ability to understand and challenge technical and medical‑scientific data .
• Experience in another therapeutic area is fully valued— we welcome candidates who have developed similar evaluation skills in different fields of healthcare.
• A strong command of English is essential , particularly to communicate effectively with international opinion leaders.
• Some travel will be required, notably to attend international congresses.
