Manufacturing Process Engineer (d/f/m)

Job Overview

Industrial Automation Engineer, located in Marseille, France — on‑site. The role is part of the Engineering & Operations group and reports to the Engineering Manager.

Responsible for modernizing and automating production lines dedicated to the laboratory industry and participating in high value‑added projects to improve performance, reliability, and productivity of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand functional requirements and translate them into realistic, feasible proposals in line with the allocated budget.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop automated systems for industrial production.
• Commission and industrialize equipment: ensure startup of automated equipment, draft associated documentation, and conduct tests (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ in regulated environments).
• Optimize line performance in terms of throughput, quality, and reliability.
• Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes, and propose improvement solutions for continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

• Engineering degree (Master’s level / Bac+5) in automation and industrial computing, or equivalent.
• Experience (3+ years) in industrial automation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, or food industry environment.
