Managing Director

Our client is an IT Managed Services company with a strong reputation in Cloud, Open Source technologies, Data, AI and Cybersecuirty.

Part of a larger group which is backed by a leading Technology focused, PE firm, they are a €25m revenue business. Focused on the SME / mid-market, they have a strong presence across Europe and are looking to appoint a new leader to steer them through their next phase of growth.

As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategic direction of the business. You will lead a broad team of 100 people across sales, pre-sales, delivery, finance and operations, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the group’s overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage P&L and ensure strong financial performance, investment management, and operational efficiency
• Drive the development of the company’s strategic plan with a focus on creating value and driving growth and further profitability
• Instil an entrepreneurial ‘mindset’ across a high-performing team with a focus on creating a culture of customer focus and innovation
• Develop business development strategy, focussing on the deepening of existing client relationships alongside the targeting and acquisition of new ones
• Cross-functional leadership, ensuring collaboration across technical and commercial functions
• Manage daily operations, instilling a ‘best practice’ culture to drive a culture of excellent

The ideal profile will have an entrepreneurial outlook, a strong track record of delivering business growth, prior experience of managing a full P&L and ideally within a managed services business model.

You will be an excellent communicator, with a commercial & entrepreneurial vision and strong stakeholder management skills.
